How to Use Glow Sand on existing concrete surfaces?

So one night during some FaceBook time and Google searches, you stumble upon photos of a beautiful glowing concrete driveway and glowing pool deck energized with AGT™ glow stones and wished you’d seen it before you poured your concrete driveway… Well it’s still not too late to get your driveway glowing. If your concrete is over 45 days old and fully cured, you have a few glow options to choose from.

Don’t hate your saw cuts… Make them Glow…
For many homeowners, the sight of saw cuts in their new decorative concrete driveway is a necessary evil… These expansion joints stop cracks from forming and are a crucial aspect of any concrete project. Instead of wishing they were not there, you can now make them glow with AGT™ commercial-grade glow sand and clear UV stable caulk. Mask both sides of your saw cut so as to not get caulk on the concrete surface and glow sand everywhere… Then squeeze caulk in the clean saw cut leaving a ¼” deep channel. Next, make a small hole in the bag of glow sand and sprinkle it onto the fresh caulk so it completely covers. Once the caulk has cured, squeeze a little more caulk in the joint until it is almost level with your concrete surface. Done.

AGT™ commercial-grade glow sand in your concrete sealer…
There are over 200 different types of concrete sealers on the market today. As we are not in the sealer business, we leave it up to our decorative concrete professional to recommend the best sealer for the project. Nick Leo of Leo Concrete has successfully used KolorStone Kolor-Classic Sealer on his concrete projects. He has placed it into saw cuts mixed with AGT™ Safety-Yellow Glow Sand and also sealed a large fire pit with AGT™ Sky Blue Glow Sand and Kolor Stone Sealer.
